Back in 2016, a story was posted on FaceBook about a woman who shared her story about experiencing racism in modern Britain. What triggered this racist behaviour?, well she was talking to her son in a different language on a bus ride, prompting a fellow male passenger to remind her that she is in the UK and should be speaking English. Now traditionally, we would respond to that comment, but in this instance, it was another female passenger who stood up for the lady and informed the male passenger that the lady resides in Wales and was speaking Welsh. Now that is an ideal come back to put anybody in their place but alas, we never will know if this story is true or not.

According to the newstatesman.com, reporters did get in touch with the user who posted the story, but were unable to verify anything else and until then, we can either assume this was a fake story or if it were real, it indeed was a very satisfying one. Till then, let's enjoy the applause the attention this story received by our fellow inter webbers courtesy of Omid Djalili.
Don't care if it's true or not. Made me laugh. Thank you.
